So, we go take the left field and go for BFR. Yeah. Go on then. BFR. Yeah. Right. Okay. Move on. Next. Now, I mean the So, basically, BFR, the main reason you would do this is in the case of injury, isn't it really? There's evidence to say it's good for general strength training and improving your overall strength. But, um, I don't think there's any evidence for me personally that says it's more accessible, easier to do, or better than just general really good strength training for non-injured athletes. So the research says that you can get similar gains in hypertrophy using much lower weights which is why it's often used in a case of injury when you don't want to use heavy weights because there's pain involved in that. But also you can also get the same hypertrophy but not necessarily the same strength outcomes because you're not necessarily lifting heavy weights. And so you'll see a faster increase in strength in a shorter period of time if you just lift heavy. If you are thinking long term in terms of hypertrophy maybe there's a case for it but I think it's equal to lifting heavy. So there's no benefit. If you can lift heavy, you should just lift heavy, right? Um again, I'm thinking, okay, so there are some coaches, trainers that are really into this. And then I think about what athletes are using it dayto-day all the time. And generally speaking, you've got to take the anecdotal evidence and, you know, um community evidence into account when you think about these things. And I don't see anyone using this to great effect all year round or at certain times of year consistently. I think it's like it's good for people to buy them for a short period of time, but unless they're injured, um, for me it's a rare case. Yeah. I mean, they're expensive as well. I I think you want to get the pressure right so that you're occluding to a certain level. I think it's easy to miss the occlusion properly so that you can take it to failure in a higher rep range. So, you want you've got to spend a lot to get them and even then I think if you're not you've not got really decent cuffs, then the pressure drops over time and so you have to keep readjusting the pressure. like they're just there's a lot of faf that goes around in it.
