Let's do I've got chin-ups and pull-ups here. Let's start. Let's start with the pull-up. Let's define define the pull-up and chin up from our perspective. Overhand grip about one and a half shoulder width. Slightly wider than shoulder width. Chin above bar. Yeah. And we we can and then chin sorry chin up is going to be supernated grip about shoulder width apart. One's going to be more lat back dominant. One's more bicep dominant. The chin up thighs. I think generally more transfer comes from the pull-up. Yeah. Uh I think people tend to see better gains from that. Um I actually did a very small research study recently on this looking at a lot of our athletes and female athletes tend to do a lot better at chin-ups whilst uh they do worse at pull-ups compared to male athletes in terms of ratios. Um and I think the chin-up is a really good thing if you do struggle with closed in positions close in positions. Um, but actually I've started doing like the deep lockoff position where you're like Yeah. And undercuts and things like that where you are more bicepy. I've actually started doing my training in this position. Interestingly, overhand but narrow. Uh, no. Hammer curl position. Okay. And that's just because we've got a good rack for that and I find that transfers really well for me cuz I'm usually quite poor in this range, but I don't like the chin-up position. Um, so I would put pull-ups as higher than chin up. Uh, and pull-up. I mean, I think you have to go. You got to go god tier of pull-up, right? Yeah. It's like if you could do one exercise for climbing, only one, it's probably a pull-up. I'm not sure it would be. No. No. No. Okay. Uh, chin-ups. Yeah. I think I'm going to go I'm going to go Is it good or okay? They're both really good, aren't they? But you probably wouldn't do both at the same time. I actually do both at the same time. I'll let I'll let you choose one. I I super Yeah. Best exercise is chin up, neck your biceps out, and going straight into a wide pull-up. And then it means your biceps are already tired, so they don't help you, which means your lats and back have to work way harder. Yeah, I think I've been banging on about that superset for years now, but it's still really good. I'm gonna say I don't think chin-ups in the same tier. Good. Yeah. Okay.
